Hope for change in luck Mumbai and Pune

Their winning momentum halted badly, Mumbai Indians (MI) & Pune Warriors would keen to regain it quickly when they line up against each other in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Sachin Tendulkar's superbly compiled maiden century Twenty20 cricket for Mumbai went in vain when debutants Kochi Tuskers Kerala pulled rug from under his team with amazing reply at their home venue.

Fellow-debutants Pune were also forced to eat the humble by Delhi Daredevils despite captain Yuvraj Singh's splendid double act - with the bat (66 not out) & the ball wickets).

The bowling & fielding down MI after they posted 182.

Tendulkar fielding The in games & in his maiden IPL ton.

A visibly disappointed Tendulkar had blamed his side's fielding soon after the defeat. The master batsman has been superb touch in all games debutants the with a home were pie captain double out) let 182.

Tendulkar remains Pune's largest hurdle to regain the lost momentum, but there's others like Rayudu & Kieron Pollard, who has not had much to do with the bat so far, to complement the batting genius.

Mumbai have depended mostly on Malinga in the beginning & Harbhajan Singh in their bowling.

While both have completed their bit, others need to step up to the plate & complement them. Pollard was very pricey in the game against Kochi & did not get to bowl his full quota .

The Warriors posted a seemingly impregnable total of 187 against the Daredevils who managed to make a great comeback from a losing position.

Pune would be happy with the form shown by burly New Zealander Jesse Ryder & Yuvraj. But after lovely displays by their bowling unit, it came short expectations on a better wicket for batting than in the first games.

The new-ball assault of Alphonso Thomas, Shrikant Wagh & Wayne Parnell needs to bowl with much more discipline against Tendulkar & company.
